From there we’ll make our way into a mindful breath-based hatha flow to build strength and body awareness. This class will close with deep restorative postures utilizing various props to support the body and allow for deep relaxation, sending you into the weekend rested and rejuvenated.

The Yoga Sutras, widely regarded as the authoritative text on yoga, is a collection of verses outlining the eight limbs of yoga. As asana (posture or pose) is only one of the eight limbs of yoga, these “threads” of wisdom (as sutra translates from Sanskrit) offer guidelines for living a meaningful and purposeful life on and off the yoga mat. This Vinyasa based class will examine different sutras each week and practitioners of all levels will explore an alignment-based, dynamic flow that cultivates greater stamina, strength and flexibility. Students will be challenged to sweat, laugh and look deep beyond their perceived limitations. Sundays 9:30-10:45am.
