Cameron Penta is a recent graduate of Life West Chiropractic College. Growing up, he had a passion for many sports, such as soccer, motocross, track and field, basketball, and football, and played competitively since the age of five. As captain of his high school track and field team, Cameron designed and led many of the team’s daily workouts. Entering college, he continued to compete competitively in track and field; participating in the Decathlon. He got involved in Olympic Weight Lifting at this time.
His unique workouts grew exponentially, learning how to move properly rather than just move weights around. Throughout his undergrad, he helped train close friends the proper techniques to make sure they weren’t harming themselves. Upon entering Life West, he got into an early morning workout group. The workout group focused on high intensity exercises called ‘Surge Workouts’.
He ended up being the leader of this group the last two years of school and started implementing full body functional movements, so individuals knew how to protect their spine and move properly in daily life as well. He enjoys working up a good sweat and doing it with a good group of highly energetic people as well! Cameron is excited to be part of the highly-motivated Power Plate team and is excited to bring a new twist to the Plate!
