Nikki Borodi

Nikki Borodi has been loving and learning from her yoga practice for the last 15 years. She fulfilled her yoga teacher training through Laughing Lotus NYC and is grateful for the growth in her own practice that comes from the joy of teaching.
Nikki’s 13 year yoga practice continues to inspire her AcroYoga and Aerial acrobatic explorations and performances. She studied aerial silks with Jen Georgopoulos in Toronto and Jordann Baker in NYC. She is grateful to share the transformative experience of flying with both her students and audiences. As a musician and circus performer Nikki believes in integrating challenge and play with ease and breath in her classes. The evolution of how she has learned to transform impossibility into possibility in her physical practice inspires how she weaves together the rest of her life’s work and teachings.
Nikki’s Vinyasa flow classes weave together the building blocks of a grounded practice focusing on alignment, flexibility strength and play. She invites her students to move like themselves finding the freedom within the exploration of their practice. She believes that the challenges that show up on the mat can be overcome and translate into how we approach the trials in our daily lives. Nikki teaches in a way that invites students of all levels to come and explore their yoga journey. As a special treat, expect fun playlists and to be serenaded with the ukulele at every class. So wether you are a beginner or looking to amp of your practice, Nikki looks forward to serving you at Symmetry Yoga!
