With all the running around during the holiday season, we can easily become overstimulated and depleted. The irony is that this season is really a time to rest and hibernate, a time to go inward, for reflection and introspection. It’s so important to slow down and care for yourself through the busyness. In this workshop we will practice deliberate stillness so that you are better able to stay calm and full of joy through a season that is filled with movement.
Restorative yoga is a powerful and therapeutic practice that uses props to support the body combined with guided meditation to encourage stillness of the mind. Immerse yourself in this three-hour seasonal workshop experiencing a combination of gentle yoga poses, guided meditation, aromatherapy, hot stones, and healing hands-on assistance. During the practice, you will cultivate a deep sense of relaxation to soothe and cleanse your nervous system, boost your immune system and deepen mind/body awareness. Emerge with a sense of renewal and connection, better prepared to take on the challenges of the season.
