A dynamic teacher with over 800 hours of training in Integral-style Hatha Yoga, Radha teaches well-rounded classes incorporating philosophy, deep relaxation, pranayama, and meditation. Classes are well-suited to new practitioners and people going through the healing process. With a fun, lighthearted approach, Radha emphasizes the fundamentals of proper body mechanics, guiding students to spend a significant amount of time in each posture and deeply pause between practices to integrate the benefits. This approach increases body awareness while increasing confidence at a steady pace. Students are empowered to explore practices that fit their bodies rather than conforming to external ideas about what a posture should look like. Radha also has worked in nonprofits for almost 20 years, including 8 years serving trans and queer communities. Radha is passionate about the intersection of spiritual practice and social justice, as well as using the tools of Yoga to cultivate resilience.
