Samantha is excited to join the Symmetry Health Center team with 9 years of coaching experience. After 4 years of exclusively training personal one-on-one sessions, she is more than thrilled to get involved with the community and coach some group fitness classes again.
Samantha has earned a degree in Kinesiology and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is highly involved in continuing education with specialty certifications such as TRX, Dynamic Variable Resistance Training (DVRT, using the Ultimate Sandbag), or UFC/MMA Conditioning. Her group exercise experience involves Pilates Reformer, Yoga Fusion, Buff Yoga, Core and HIIT in the small group training environment.
Samantha enjoys distance training runs, powerlifting, yoga, HIIT, and kettlebell training, and is looking forward to see how much more her body is capable of in the years to come. She is active in building a community with her current clients. She works with them on mindset performance and creating healthy relationships with food and movement. Through social media she uses her accomplishments (as well as set backs) in her own training goals as a way to connect to her audience. Samantha’s career goal is to reach out and influence those who would like guidance in their health and fitness aspirations.
