Yoga for SI Joint Health with Aviva Levine

Join Aviva Levine E-RYT, YACEP + Certified TRE Provider for a workshop dedicated to supporting the health of the SacroIliac (SI) joints. This workshop addresses common symptoms of SI joint dysfunction including pain in the lower back and buttock as well as pain radiating to lower hip, groin or upper thigh. We will focus on poses that should be done daily and include time to build a custom personal practice to take home.

Although usually one sided, in rarer occasions dysfunction can occur in both. Other symptoms could be numbness, tingling or a feeling of weakness in the leg. Symptoms may worsen with sitting, standing, sleeping, walking or climbing stairs. Often the SI joint is painful sitting or sleeping on the affected side. Some people have difficulty riding in a car or standing, sitting or walking too long. Pain can be worse with transitional movements (going from sit to stand), standing on one leg or climbing stairs.

This is an ALL LEVELS workshop and will include elements of Forrest Yoga, Pilates + TRE (tension stress + trauma release exercises.)
