Slow Flow
Lead at a mellow pace, this class is a gentle introduction to Vinyasa Flow and is perfect for beginners or those who wish to take it slow. Postures will be broken down to explore fundamental alignment and basic principals of flow, building up to a slow paced yet dynamic vinyasa practice. The movements are fluid and dance-like and the aim of this practice is to link breath and movement. You can expect to increase the heart rate and break a light sweat while ‘flowing’ in this slow flow vinyasa class.
Warm Flow
In a gently heated room, students will find a steady Vinyasa based practice that focuses on linking breath and movement through a dynamic sequence of postures to build stability and strength. In combination with flow, postures will be held for several breaths to ease tension and create ease. This class will explore breath work, core strengthening exercises, strong standing sequences, and playful balancing postures. Designed to be accessible yet challenging for beginners, this level 1-2 class will have something for everyone including experienced students.
Vinyasa Flow
These classes weave together the building blocks of a grounded practice focusing on alignment, flexibility strength and play. We invite our students to move like themselves finding the freedom within the exploration of their own practice. We believe that the challenges that show up on the mat can be overcome and translate into how we approach the trials in our daily lives. Our Vinyasa teachers instruct in a way that invites students of all levels to come and explore their yoga journey while enjoying live music or tailored playlists that compliment the associated teachers style of class. As a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, we look forward to serving you at Symmetry Yoga!
Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is a semi-active practice to rejuvenate and heal the body with a more restorative focus. This class is geared toward students who wish to move and build strength, but at a slower pace to calm the mind while increasing flexibility and body awareness. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps are used for safe practice and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably.
Hatha Flow
Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all other forms of holistic yoga. Ultimately Hatha is the expression of Yin and Yang, movement and stillness, putting forth effort and receiving the flow of life through surrender and breath. Hatha Flow combines breath and movement in a graceful flow that will encourage freedom in your joints, length in your muscles and somatic awareness throughout. This class will leave you enlivened and enthused with deep sense of well being. All ages, levels of experience and ability are welcome.

Reiki & Restorative
Reiki & Restorative is a time and space totally devoted to the renewal of your nervous system. Through the restorative practice of long-held, non-weight bearing postures, you will be able to feel ease, relaxation, and a sense of inner peace and well-being. Alongside this deeply healing practice, you will experience the gentle warmth and healing touch of Reiki (universal life force energy). Reiki intelligently assists in soothing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual layers of the body as it gently runs through energetic pathways, or meridians, cleansing and nourishing along its path.
Yin Yang Yoga
This holistic class balances the enlivening and strengthening aspects of a gentle Hatha Flow class with the more restorative and meditative qualities of Yin Yoga. We’ll start by opening the body slowly with some Yin postures, held between 3-5 minutes to target connective tissues and increase flexibility. From there we’ll make our way into a mindful breath-based hatha flow to build strength and body awareness. This class will close with deep restorative postures utilizing various props to support the body and allow for deep relaxation, sending you into the weekend rested and rejuvenated.
Slow Yoga & Sound Meditation
Settle into meditation with traditional yogic methods and unique sequencing. This class begins with slow, therapeutic yoga postures designed to open the body and still the breath. You’ll then experience a deep calm as you are immersed with the soothing tones of live quartz crystal singing bowls during a sound savasana. Once your body, breath, and mind are relaxed, you will be ready for an ease-filled seated meditation. Take part in a tranquil morning practice and leave feeling recharged and revitalized. Perfect for those seeking a gentler class, deep stretches & a very slow pace. All ages, levels, and abilities welcome.
